Andrew N Dutton – President and CEO

Founder of Vertex Financial, licensed insurance agent, broker and Investment Advisor Representative, Andrew is focused on helping clients in all stages of life, to plan and save, holistically for retirement. He has dedicated his life and career to helping people work toward financial freedom and flexibility throughout retirement. “My clients love the idea of having a ‘personal investment coordinator’ – a single and trusted individual who they can utilize for all their financial and retirement needs.”

What allows me to excel at this, since coming into the space in 2018, is that I strictly adhere to a higher fiduciary standard, and truly love what I do. “As the only son of my Father and Mother, I was taught from an early age the value of hard work and discipline. I knew that as I grew older, I did not want a corporate job, I wanted to work for myself and my clients. One of the reasons I enjoy working with people over the age of 55, is that most people at this age are starting to get excited about the prospect of retirement. 

Talking with pre-retirees about goals, aspirations, and the vision they have for the future is always a treat. The fact that my vocation helps empower individuals, to focus on family instead of finances, and making retirement dreams a reality are two incredibly satisfying perks of my job. “In these past five years in the financial services space, Andrew has specialized in several facets of retirement planning: distribution of retirement savings, transitioning into retirement, asset reallocation, estate and legacy planning and multigenerational plans.  Andrew has passed the Series 63, 65 and 7 security examinations. He also holds insurance licenses in life and health. He has a bachelor's degree graduating from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Andrew graduated in 2016. Andrew enjoys traveling, walking his dog, Buddie. Reading books, playing board and card games, and enjoying coffee on a sleepy Sunday in Doylestown.
